As a hardcore origamist, constantly creasing paper really takes a toll on my thumbnail. The friction wears away my nail little by little until it’s down to the quick, and it hurts!But! There is a solution for all you other origami enthusiasts out there! A quality bone folder, and this is a great place to buy one. I ordered my bone folder and got it a day early, in an envelope lined with bubblewrap. It’s really well made, and it’s real bone, unlike a lot of other folders out there made out of plastic or other materials. It feels really good in my hands, and is very organic and natural. It has a few small impurities, due to the nature of the bone it was made from, but I love that about it. The point is perfect for opening up paper for a squash fold, too!All in all, this is a fantastic buy. Just be careful if you have a dog. Mine keeps trying to use his begging eyes because he thinks it’s a treat for him haha!
